These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the WiFiCert platform, including the self-assessment tools, certification services and related features (the “Service”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. About WiFiCert

WiFiCert provides tools and services designed to support the assessment, review and, where applicable, certification of wireless network environments.

2. Nature of the Service

The WiFiCert self-assessment is based on information submitted by the user and is intended to provide an indicative review only.

Completion of a self-assessment does not in itself constitute certification. Certification, if granted, is issued only following review and validation by WiFiCert.

3. User Responsibilities

By using the Service, you confirm that:

• the information you provide is accurate, complete and truthful;
• you are authorised to submit information relating to the relevant premises, network or organisation;
• you will not knowingly provide misleading, false, manipulated or incomplete data;
• you will use the Service lawfully and in good faith.

4. No Guarantee of Certification

Completion of a self-assessment, payment of any application fee, or submission of supporting materials does not guarantee certification.

Any certification decision remains subject to WiFiCert’s review, validation processes, and any additional checks or clarifications it may require.

5. Verification and Right to Refuse

WiFiCert reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:

• request further information or evidence;
• request clarification or supporting documentation;
• reject an application;
• suspend, refuse, revoke or decline certification.
• WiFiCert may use automated tools and analytical systems to support the verification process.

6. Use of Assessment Results

Assessment results are provided for informational purposes only and must not be interpreted as a guarantee of network performance, user experience, service continuity or suitability for any particular operational or commercial purpose.

You remain responsible for any decisions, actions or representations made in reliance on the results.

7. Certification Disclaimer

Any certification issued by WiFiCert reflects the information and conditions available at the time of assessment and review only.

Certification does not guarantee ongoing performance, future network conditions, continued compliance, uninterrupted service quality or suitability for every user, device or environment.

8. Prohibited Use

You must not:

• misuse or interfere with the Service;
• attempt to manipulate, falsify or distort assessment results;
• use the Service for unlawful, deceptive or abusive purposes;
• copy, scrape or exploit the Service without permission.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, methodologies, scoring models, materials and intellectual property associated with WiFiCert are owned by or licensed to WiFiCert Ltd.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, republish or exploit any such materials without prior written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WiFiCert shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or business loss arising from:

• your use of or inability to use the Service;
• your reliance on assessment outputs or certification-related materials;
• inaccurate, incomplete or misleading data submitted by you or on your behalf;
• technical failures, interruptions or delays outside WiFiCert’s reasonable control.

11. Changes to the Service

WiFiCert may update, modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be published on this page. Your continued use of the Service after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
